Geomant Coronavirus Statement

By: Geomant

In response to the elevated risks of the COVID-19 virus, Geomant has initiated contingency plans that allow the continuation of service while protecting the well-being of staff and customers. Ákos Vécsei, Geomant’s CEO, has this to say on the subject:

“Geomant has offices across Europe, in the US and Australia; each is following local government guidance but remains fully operational. Our technical infrastructure, including the use of Microsoft Teams as our primary communications tool, enables our people to work from home, and they are being encouraged to do so. All of our staff have laptops and secure remote access so that they can continue their work without disruption. Our project teams continue to deliver new and improved solutions to our customers.

We want to reassure our customers that our support operation remains available and that we will continue to deliver the same excellent service as always. The only element that may be affected is any scheduled on-site visits. We have advised staff not to travel during this period and not to attend customer sites until further notice – any exceptions will be subject to management involvement and risk assessment. However, given that most of our activities are performed on-line, we don’t expect this to cause too much disruption.”

Geomant reminds customers that we have solutions designed to help organisations, large and small, better communicate with their customers. We have introduced a number of quick-to-deploy solutions that allow organisations to adapt to the current situation; to cater for peaks in demand, to communicate proactively and to allow customer service personnel to work from home. These solutions are mostly deployed from the cloud and can be up and running in very short timescales. To find out more, you can set up a call with one of our experts

The well-being of our team and customers remains our top priority, and we will continue to monitor the situation and adapt how we work during this period. If you have any questions at all, do not hesitate to get in touch.
